Millions March draws large crowd in Fairfax, Miracle Mile
A large crowd took to the streets of Los Angeles for the Millions March for First Amendment Rights on Saturday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A large crowd took to the streets of Los Angeles for the Millions March for First Amendment Rights on Saturday.

The march began at Pan Pacific Park around 2 p.m. The crowd grew to about 5,000 people. They moved through the Fairfax District and the Miracle Mile, protesting recent episodes of police violence. But organizers said it's also about bringing the whole community together.

Police officers enacted rolling street closures to protect the demonstrators. The protest was set to end by 6 p.m. There were no reports of violence.
