MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death in Monterey Park, and sheriff's investigators are searching for clues.
Edward Mendoza was attacked at around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of a business complex on Potrero Grande and Arroyo drives.
What led to the stabbing remains unknown, but Mendoza was able to call 911 after it happened. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Friends have set up a Go-Fund-Me page to benefit Mendoza's family.
No arrests have been made.
