ORANGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Orange County sheriff's deputies are seeking additional victims who may have been victimized by a professional photographer and children's tumbling coach who is facing child pornography charges.
Christopher Brown, 42, of Orange was arrested Friday at an Orange County shopping center on multiple charges, including possession and manufacturing of child pornography and digital penetration and oral copulation with a child, following an investigation by the Orange County Child Exploitation Task Force and the Los Angeles Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Investigators say the suspect was allegedly in possession of numerous illicit photographs and videos depicting female minors.
OCCETF officials served a search warrant at the Irvine hotel where Brown was staying and collected his computer and an external hard drive. During the time of his arrest, officials collected Brown's cellphone and GoPro camera.
Brown, who works throughout the country, allegedly used "his profession in order to lure his victims into taking illicit photographs and engaging in sexual misconduct," OCCETF said.
The suspect was convicted in Virginia for possession of child pornography in 2005, but failed to register as a sex registrant when he moved to California several years ago.
Brown is being held at the Orange County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail. He's scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
Anyone with additional information or who may have been victimized by Brown was asked to contact the Orange County Sheriff's Department's Special Victim's Unit at (714) 647-7418 or (714) 647-7000.
