A fire broke out while workers were disassembling the recently closed Colossus ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014.

The top of the lift hill on the 125-foot-tall wooden coaster collapsed after flames charred it. Check out photos from AIR7 HD above.

Colossus was closed on Aug. 17 and will be turned into a longer looping wood and steel coaster called Twisted Colossus that opens next spring.
