THOUSAND OAKS, Calf. (KABC) -- The Potrero Fire in the Lake Sherwood area near Thousand Oaks has scorched 50 acres, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

The two-alarm brush fire was reported at 1:38 a.m. at Trentwood Drive and Potrero Road. As of Saturday night, the blaze was 80 percent contained, with 45 firefighters keeping a close eye for any flareups.

About 330 firefighters were assisting the Ventura County Fire Department, including the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Santa Barbara County Fire Department and Cal Fire.

Firefighters are concerned gusty winds may hamper their efforts to fight the brush fire.

No injuries or evacuations have been reported.
