SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A third victim has died in the deadly gang shooting that broke out at a San Bernardino nightclub, police said.

Four people were injured in the shooting, which occurred outside Stingers Bar & Nightclub around 1:47 a.m. Wednesday. One person remains in critical condition, and the others have been treated and released.

Police said they made an arrest but did not release the suspect's identity.

According to witnesses, several people were denied entry into the club because they were possibly gang rivals of people who were already inside. They loitered in the parking lot but left once police were called to scene. However, as the crowd let out at closing time, the subjects returned and a shooting ensued.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as Petetrial Michael Scott and Jerry Jamale Jackson, both of San Bernardino.

The identity of the third victim who died was not released.

According to officials, approximately 20-30 rounds were fired in the club parking lot, and more rounds were found at a nearby gas station.

Police said the two shootings are related but are being treated as separate incidents.

There have been previous shootings at the club in the past - in September 2010 and November 2013. Police said the area is known for gang activity.

There was no suspect information immediately available. Anyone who may have witnessed the shootings was urged to contact the San Bernardino Police Department at (909) 384-5742.
