Seal Beach police searching for stabbing suspect

SEAL BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Seal Beach police are searching for a suspect who stabbed a 23-year-old man early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a disturbance call on the northeast corner of 8th Street and Ocean Avenue at about 3:44 a.m., and found a man suffering from stab wounds to his stomach.

He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-30s, standing around 5 feet 5 inches, 180 pounds with a medium to chubby build, short black hair and possibly a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a plain charcoal colored T-shirt and jeans.
