RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. (KABC) -- A small plane crash-landed just short of the foothills in Rancho Cucamonga at about 6:16 p.m. Friday.
The plane was flying very low and came to rest in a graded dirt lot on the 10800 block of Almond Street near Haven Avenue, according to the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department.
The solo occupant was airlifted to a hospital.
No one else was injured. No structures were affected by the collision.
The incident was under investigation.
