SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A tow truck driver slammed into a house in Santa Ana Friday night after allegedly swerving to avoid hitting a speeding car who cut him off.
The crash nearly took out the entire wall of the house located in the 2000 block of West 5th Street at about 6:40 p.m.
No one inside the home was injured, but the tow truck driver was transported to a local hospital. He suffered a laceration to an arm and other injuries.
The speeding older-model black Honda Accord left the scene, said Santa Ana police Sgt. Matt Hermans.
Building inspectors deemed the house uninhabitable.
