Death investigation underway after woman's body found in San Gabriel home

SAN GABRIEL, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation was underway after a woman was found dead inside a home in San Gabriel Wednesday afternoon.

The woman's body was found around 9 a.m. in the 1200 block of S. Euclid Avenue. A white sheet had been draped over a brick wall on the outside of the home.

Neighbors said the woman who lived at the home was a regular sight around the neighborhood. She often walked her dog and was friendly.

Investigators said there was no reason for people in the neighborhood to be worried. The woman may have died of natural causes.

The investigation was ongoing.
