Woman found shot to death at Lakewood residence

LAKEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- L.A. County Sheriff's Homicide detectives were investigating a reported shooting death in Lakewood Tuesday night.

L.A. County Fire personnel responded to a residence on the 4100 block of Maybank Avenue in Lakewood at 6:20 p.m. and found a body at the scene.

The dead woman was not immediately identified.

No suspect information was released.

The investigation was ongoing.
