Woman found with 'suspicious' traumatic injuries in South Gate
SOUTH GATE, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheriff's officials were investigating a possible attack on a woman in South Gate after she was found with "suspicious traumatic injuries," according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Homicide detectives responded to the 5200 block of Brookdale Road to assist South Gate police officers on the incident that occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
The victim, described only as a Hispanic woman, was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in extremely critical condition.
