Woman perishes in Temple City house fire

TEMPLE CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman died in a Temple City house fire Monday evening, according to authorities.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department said it responded to the home in the 6100 block of Golden West Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.

Officials said the fire spread to both floors of the home.

Firefighters described hoarding conditions within the house.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said the victim was a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.
