AZUSA, Calif. (KABC) -- Two teens were arrested in Azusa after allegedly trying to drive off with the cellphone of a woman they met on Craigslist and then dragging her 40 to 50 feet.

The victim arranged to meet the two suspects to sell her cellphone at about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of North Azusa Avenue. When she gave them her cell phone to look at, they attempted to drive off, Azusa police said.

The victim reached into the car to take her phone back, but was instead dragged by the car.

On Friday, Azusa police found the suspects' vehicle with Taquala Woods, 19, and Brianna Dixon, 18, sitting inside. Both admitted to their involvement and were subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery, police said.

Police believe Woods and Dixon may be responsible for other similar thefts. Anyone with information is asked to call Azusa Police Department at (626) 812-3200.
