WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was taken into custody Thursday, accused in a carjacking that ended when he took off all his clothes.

The incident began in Woodland Hills when police say he stole a woman's car. Police say the suspect carjacked the woman at Serrania Charter School at 6:20 p.m.

A little girl was inside the car at the time. She was able to escape when the man crashed a short time later.

The suspect ran off, but for some reason, he came back in his own car.

Officers chased the man down and took him into custody, but not before he stripped off all his clothes.

Police say they are evaluating him for drugs and alcohol. Investigators do not believe the suspect knew the carjacking suspect or the child.
