A bombshell new report alleges another extramarital affair by President Donald Trump before he took office, involving a Playboy playmate who was later paid to keep her story quiet.

The New Yorker reported that years before Trump took office, but while he was married to Melania, he was involved in a nine-month affair with former Playboy playmate Karen McDougal.

The magazine obtained eight pages of handwritten notes that McDougal admits she wrote, in which she describes meeting Trump at a taping of "The Apprentice" in 2006.

She wrote that Trump "immediately took a liking to me, kept talking to me - telling me how beautiful I was."

She wrote their first date began with dinner in a private bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel and ended with sex.

She said that afterward he offered her money. "I looked at him and felt sad and said, 'no thanks - I'm not that girl, I slept with you because I like you - not for money' - he told me you are special."

She said she would see Trump every time he was in Los Angeles.

"Every time I flew to meet him, I booked and paid for flight and hotel and he reimbursed me, so there would be no paper trail for Trump."

The National Enquirer, owned by a friend of Trump, bought the rights to the story for $150,000 just before the presidential election, but never ran it.

"People in the tabloid business call this 'Catch and kill,'" said Ronan Farrow, reporter for The New York. "It's acquiring a story to bury it."

This apparently happened after Melania Trump had given birth to their son Barron.

Friday, despite planning to leave the White House with the first lady, the president boarded Marine One alone, meeting his wife at Air Force One.

A similar scene played out last month at the State of the Union after the president's alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels was revealed. The first lady traveled to the speech on her own.

In that case, Trump's attorney Michael Cohen said this week he paid Daniels $130,000 to stay quiet.
