PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A group of protesters drove around the San Fernando Valley on Sunday to express their opposition to Donald Trump.

Protesters gathered in their cars, many of them decorated with Mexican flags, at Van Nuys Boulevard and Blythe Street in Panorama City and then drove to the area around Hansen Dam in Pacoima.

"I want to send a message," said protest participant Maria Galvan. "It's necessary to vote. You have to register and later to vote, to get Trump out of there."

Unlike recent anti-Trump protests in Chicago and elsewhere, the valley event was peaceful with no arrests, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
