MEXICO CITY (KABC) -- Pope Francis arrives in Mexico on Friday for a week-long visit that has generated excitement throughout the overwhelmingly Catholic nation.[br /][br /]With more than 90 million Catholics, Mexico is the world's second-most Catholic country.[br /][br /]The pope is [url HREF="http://www.news.va/en/news/full-schedule-for-pope-francis-trip-to-mexico-in-f[br /]" TARGET="" REL="nofollow"]scheduled to start his tour[/url] in Mexico City, meeting with the nation's political and religious leaders and holding Mass in the Basilica of Guadalupe.[br /][Ads /][br /]He will later visit a pediatric hospital and tour some of the nation's most poverty-stricken and dangerous communities - such as Ciudad Juarez where he will visit a prison and host a Holy Mass on a fairgrounds.
