DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The final CicLAvia of 2017 kicked off Sunday morning in downtown Los Angeles.

Dozens of people were seen riding their bikes and enjoying the early morning sunshine along the closed off streets in downtown. What is usually a bustling hub of cars became quiet and serene with only the sounds of people riding their bikes.

The 4-mile route went through MacArthur Park into downtown and Koreatown. There were also people on Metro bikes, skateboards, roller blades and scooters.

More than 100,000 people were expected to participate in the event. There were also hub stations along the route for people to enjoy art, music, food and giveaways.

It was held until 3 p.m.
