PINEHURST, N.C. (KABC) -- A 6-year-old golf prodigy from Los Angeles rallied at the end of a youth world-championship tournament to finish tied for fifth - and the top American - out of a field of more than 80 young golfers.

Jaden Soong of Los Feliz started the final day tied for 11th at one over par in the U.S. Kids Golf world championship in Pinehurst, NC. But he had a strong final day, moving up six spots by rallying with three birdies to finish the third round at two under.

He was the top scoring American in the boys 6 and under field.

Jaden, who already has a hole-in-one to his credit, has gotten lots of attention for his prowess, including an online posting of his swing by pro golfer Adam Scott that got thousands of views last year.
