Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Cam Bedrosian has been diagnosed with a blood clot and may need season-ending surgery, the team announced Wednesday.

Bedrosian, who is on the disabled list with tendinitis in his finger, will see a specialist after a CT angiogram found the blood clot in his upper right arm.

The 24-year-old Bedrosian, the son of 1987 Cy Young Award winner Steve Bedrosian, has a 1.12 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 41 1/3 innings this season.
