Mike Morin placed on 15-day DL with strained muscle

BOSTON -- The Los Angeles Angels placed right-hander Mike Morin on the 15-day disabled list Sunday with a strained muscle on his left side.

To fill his spot on the roster, the club recalled right-hander Cam Bedrosian from Triple-A Salt Lake.

The 24-year old Morin walked off the mound in Saturday's 8-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox after throwing a pitch.

Manager Mike Scioscia said before Sunday's game that he didn't have a timetable for Morin's return.

The 23-year old Bedrosian is up with the Angels for the second time this season. He worked in two games without allowing a run in three innings.
