Los Angeles Lakers forwardKobe Bryant tweeted at Minnesota player Rachel Banham after she hit the game-winning 3-pointer to lead Minnesota to a 78-76 home win Monday night over Iowa.

Banham is the player who tied the NCAA record with 60 points on Feb. 7 in a double-overtime win over Northwestern.

With Minnesota trailing by one and less than three seconds remaining, Banham dribbled across half court into a screen at the top of the key. Her defender got caught on the screen, and Banham pulled up from beyond the arc and faded toward the left sideline as she let the game winner go.

Banham finished with 35 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists for the Gophers.

In her 60-point barrage, the 5-foot-9 guard made 19 of 32 shots, including 8-of-15 from 3-point range, and hit 14 of 16 free throws. She had 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals en route to shattering the single-game scoring record for the school (44) and Big Ten (49).

Banham entered play Monday night as the nation's third-leading scorer and averaging 26.1 points per game.
