LOS ANGELES --Houston Rockets guard Corey Brewer was fined $5,000 by the league on Thursday for violating the NBA's anti-flopping rules by drawing a foul in the Game 2 victory over the Clippers.

With 63 seconds remaining in the first quarter, Clippers guard Lester Hudson was called for an offensive foul against Brewer for pushing off. However, Brewer flew into the basket support during the push-off.

Brewer becomes the second Rockets player to get fined for violating the anti-flopping rules in the postseason. Guard Jason Terry received a $5,000 fine in the first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks for trying to get through a screen.

After Wednesday's game, in which 67 fouls were called, the Clippers were upset at the foul discrepancy and the number of foul shots taken.

Los Angeles was whistled for 40 fouls and Houston set a playoff franchise record for foul shot attempts (64) and foul shot makes (42).

"They picked up momentum and we couldn't get stops," said Clippers forward Matt Barnes, who fouled out after logging 34 minutes. "Our offense was stagnant. They shot a whole lot of free throws and came back. Shoot 64 free throws and we shoot (32) and we had 20 more foul calls. Like I said [Wednesday], if they let us play, it'll be a good game. If they're on the line all night it's going to be tough."
