This year's NHL trade deadline saw a number of Stanley Cup contenders stock up as they get ready for the stretch run.
One of last year's Vezina Trophy finalists, Ben Bishop, is off to the Los Angeles Kings as goaltender Jonathan Quick continues to rehab from a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since the team's season-opener. The Kings also added Jarome Iginla from the Colorado Avalanche, as the future Hall of Famer continues to chase his first Cup victory. Meanwhile, defenseman Johnny Oduya is returning to the Chicago Blackhawks, with whom he won Stanley Cups in 2013 and 2015.
Other significant moves from the deadline include Thomas Vanek to the Florida Panthers, Brian Boyle to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Kevin Shattenkirk to the Washington Capitals, Brendan Smith to the New York Rangersand Martin Hanzal to the Minnesota Wild.
