Overturned semi-truck shuts down SB 14 Fwy in Agua Dulce

AGUA DULCE, SANTA CLARITA (KABC) -- An overturned semi-truck blocked all lanes of the southbound 14 Freeway in Agua Dulce early Wednesday morning.

The accident happened shortly before 4 a.m. just south of Escondido Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol. It was unclear what caused the trailer to overturn. It was unknown if the driver suffered any injuries.

A SigAlert was issued around 4:23 a.m. and traffic was diverted off at Escondido Canyon Road. The carpool lane was opened shortly before 8:30 a.m.

The CHP did not provide a time frame for when the truck would be removed.
