In an effort to support wildfire evacuees and first responders, rideshare company Uber is offering their services for free.

The company is providing free meals to first responders through their food delivery service, Uber Eats. Uber says they're working with partner restaurants and the American Red Cross to deliver food to evacuees also.

They're also offering free rides, up to $50, to and from evacuation centers in Ventura, Los Angeles, San Diego and Murrieta. Use the promo code "SOCALSAFE" to redeem the free ride.

Uber said via press release, "We're continuing to work closely with local authorities to determine additional areas of support. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by the sudden and devastating Southern California wildfires."
