Warmer, dry conditions expected in SoCal on Monday

Los Angeles and Southern California will see warmer temperatures on Monday and Tuesday with just a few clouds in the sky.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Monday and Tuesday will be warm days in Southern California as a ridge of high pressure hangs over the region.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Monday will see some morning fog and afternoon sunshine with a high of 85 degrees. Temperatures will drop by a few degrees later in the week.

The valleys and Inland Empire can expect temps to hit around 95 on Monday, dropping to the upper 80s later in the week.

Beaches will be cloudy in the morning, with a high of around 74 by the afternoon.

Mountains will see a high of 76 on Monday.

The desert areas on Monday will see a high of 97, with similar conditions most of the week.
