SoCal warms up Saturday ahead of cooldown and possible showers

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California warms up on Saturday as breezy conditions linger, but a cooldown is around the corner.

Several parts of the region will see temperatures in the 80s on Saturday. A cooling trend moving in on Sunday is bringing a 10-20% chance for showers Tuesday and Wednesday.

Los Angeles and Orange counties on Saturday will be sunny and in the low 80s. Temperatures drop to the upper 70s on Sunday.

The valleys and Inland Empire on Saturday can expect a high of 87 and a low of 51. Conditions will be slightly cooler on Sunday, but sunshine remains. Temperatures will be in the 70s next week.

Beaches this weekend will be in the low 70s. Expect mostly sunny conditions on Saturday and morning clouds on Sunday.

Breezy conditions remain in the mountains on Saturday. Temperatures will be in the low 60s in the afternoon, and overnight lows will be in the low 30s.

Deserts on Saturday will be breezy, with a high of 80 and a low of 39. Expect similar conditions on Sunday.
