LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see sunshine and warm conditions Monday, but get ready for a big warmup by mid-week when temperatures climb to the 80s and 90s in some parts.
Los Angeles and Orange counties will see morning clouds Monday before making way for sunny skies in the afternoon, with a high of 75 degrees. The warmup will be noticeable Wednesday when it could be in the mid-80s.
The valleys and Inland Empire will reach a high of 83 degrees on Monday, dropping to 54 overnight. Looking ahead, Wednesday and Thursday will see temperatures in the 90s.
Beaches will be breezy with morning clouds on Monday, with a high of 64 degrees and a low of 53. Similar conditions are on tap for Tuesday.
Mountains will experience sunny and mild conditions on Monday, with a high of 66 degrees and an overnight low of 34. By Wednesday, temperatures will climb to the low 70s.
Deserts Monday will reach a high of 79 and a low of 49. Similar conditions are expected Tuesday before temperatures climb into the upper 80s on Wednesday and 90s on Thursday. Palm Springs is expected to reach 91 degrees on Monday.
