LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see sunshine and warm conditions Saturday and Sunday, but get ready for a big warmup next week when temperatures climb to the 80s and 90s in some parts.
The region will be slightly cooler Monday, but temperatures jump by mid-week.
Los Angeles and Orange counties this weekend will see temperatures pushing 80 degrees. The warmup will be noticeable Wednesday when it could be in the mid-80s.
The valleys and Inland Empire Saturday will reach a high of 80, dropping to 46 overnight. Looking ahead, Wednesday and Thursday could see temperatures in the mid-90s.
Beaches will be cool Saturday, with a high of 71 and a low of 47. Similar conditions are on tap Sunday.
Mountains Saturday will see sunshine, with a high of 52 and an overnight low of 25. On Sunday, temperatures will climb to the low 60s.
Deserts Saturday will reach a high of 72 and a low of 38. Conditions will be slightly warmer Sunday.
