SoCal to see sunshine, cool temps this weekend but rain returns soon
Southern California will experience a dry weekend with sunny and cool conditions, but more rain is around the corner.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will experience a dry, sunny Sunday, but more rain is around the corner.

Another series of storm systems will bring more rain and mountain snow to the region next week, according to the National Weather Service. The rain could arrive as early as Monday night.

The NWS says "the most impactful weather" could happen Wednesday through Thursday.

Los Angeles and Orange counties Sunday can expect sunny conditions, with a high of 73 and a low of 48.

The valleys and Inland Empire Sunday will be sunny, along with a high of 78 and a low of 41.

Beaches Sunday can expect cool temperatures - a high of 65 and a low of 48. Sunny conditions will remain throughout the day.

Mountain communities can expect a sunny Sunday, with temperatures in the low 50s. Snow will return next week.

Deserts will reach a high of 68 Sunday, with Palm Springs in the upper 70s.
