LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A cooling trend continues in Southern California this weekend, bringing clouds and temperatures in the 60s and 70s.

Although conditions will be cool, no rain is expected until Christmas Eve when showers are possible.
Los Angeles and Orange counties on Sunday will reach a high of 68 degrees, dropping to 46 at night. Similar conditions are on tap on Monday.
The valleys and Inland Empire on Sunday can expect morning clouds, followed by partly sunny conditions. The high will reach 71 and the low will be 48.
Beaches on Sunday should see some sunshine after morning fog dissipates. A high of 63 is on tap. A high surf advisory was issued for some counties,
Mountains on Sunday will be partly cloudy amid a high of 59 degrees. Temperatures drop to a chilly 31 degrees overnight.
Deserts this weekend will be sunny and in the low 70s. Meanwhile, Palm Springs will reach a high of 79 on Sunday.
