LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see mostly clear skies on the Thanksgiving holiday with temperatures in the 60s and 70s and some good surfing waves at local beaches.
Los Angeles and Orange counties should see a high around 70 on Thursday with northeast breezes blowing through canyons up to 25 mph. Friday will be similar and then the weekend will warm up by a few degrees to the mid-70s.
Valleys and the Inland Empire will see a high of 72 with some canyon breezes.
Beach communities will be cool and partly sunny with a high of 66. Ocean swells will reach 2-5 feet.
Mountains will see temperatures reach just 50 degrees during the daytime, with winds up to 35 through the passes. Temperatures will drop to 20 overnight.
Desert communities will see a high of 61, dropping to 29 overnight.
