The L.A. County medical examiner's office released the names of three of the four deceased individuals.
NORTH HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two adults and two young children, one of whom was only 6 days old, were found dead after a murder-suicide in North Hills on Wednesday night, authorities said.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to a home in the 16200 block of Londelius Avenue around 8 p.m. in response to a shooting. When they arrived, they found four people dead from gunshot wounds.
The deceased were later identified by the L.A. County medical examiner's office as Ella Basmajian, who was only six days old, 2-year-old Alec Basmajian, 31-year-old Khajag Basmajian, and a woman in her 30s whose name was not immediately released, pending the notification of her family.
In the early stages of the investigation, the LAPD previously described the deceased as as a man and woman estimated to be 35-40 years old, a child between the age of 5 and 7, and a 4-month-old baby.

Police said they were not looking for any suspects, adding that the case was being investigated as a confirmed murder-suicide.
Further details about how the four people were related or what may have led up to the shooting were not immediately available.
Neighbors gathered at the scene said they believe the victims are family members.
AIR7 video from above the neighborhood showed a large response from first responders, including firefighters and law enforcement.
"It's just shocking to be in our neighborhood, something that drastic and devastating in the neighborhood. It's sad. Four people lost their lives today," said North Hills neighbor Undreal Turner. "We really need to hone in on our moms, and even dads, just to make sure, in the neighborhood, people that you know, that they're OK. Do they need any help? Do they need any assistance? Do they need any support?"
Members from the mayor's all-volunteer Crisis Response Team were also at the scene. The group works to support crisis survivors on the worst days of their lives.
