The victim was taken to County-USC Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 12:31 a.m.

Violence continues to escalate in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES A 29-year-old man identified as Jorge Fernando Casillas was gunned down in the 3500 block of Siskiyou Street after a confrontation with gang members.
According to reports, Casillas was standing next to his vehicle when the crime took place.
