7 arrested in prostitution sting

RIVERSIDE, Calif. The Riverside Police Department says business owners and residents had been complaining of prostitution activity in the area.

The suspects who approached the undercover officers had their vehicles impounded.

The men were arrested on suspicion of solicitation charges. Some were also arrested on suspicion of having no driver's license, obstructing and delaying an officer and possession of a concealed knife.

Police say one suspect threatened an undercover officer and was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery.
