Teacher free on bail after child porn charges

CARSON, Calif. Silvestre Ela, 53, appeared in court Wednesday for his arraignment, but it was continued until Jan. 6.

Investigators said Ela, a teacher at Dominguez Elementary School in Carson, admitted to downloading and viewing images of child pornography, but denied victimizing any children.

So far, none of Ela's students have been linked to the case, but police want to know if there are any possible victims.
