Police investigate cat abuse case in BG

According to the Wood County Humane Society, 19-year-old Joshua Pulford moved out of his apartment in December. He left his cat locked in a closet with no access to food or water.

There was a bag of food on a closet shelf, but it was out of the cat's reach. According to the cruelty investigator, the cat tried to claw its way out and ate carpet and wood chips.

One of the toughest things for the cruelty investigator is that she knew the cat. Pulford originally adopted it from the Humane Society.
