Police were called to the couple's home on the 200 block of Laxore Street on Sunday morning after reports of a woman having medical problems.
Police said she suffered fatal injuries during a domestic violence incident.
"She was taken to a hospital where she was later pronounced dead," said Anaheim Police Sgt. Bob Dunn.
William Wallace, 30, was taken into custody after his wife died and was booked for murder.
An autopsy has yet to be done to determine an exact cause of death.
