Investigators in Northern California have identified two sets of remains linked to the "Speed Freak Killers."

DNA tests confirmed the remains are those of twenty-five year-old Cyndi Vanderheiden, 25, and Chevelle "Chevy" Wheeler, 16.

Death row inmate Wesley Shermantine gave investigators a map to the site, where they found more than 1,000 bone fragments.

Police think Shermantine and childhood friend Loren Herzog killed 20 people in the 1980s and '90s.
