CicLAvia hits Southeast LA streets for first time
Hundreds of people pedaled their way through the streets of Los Angeles for CicLAvia Sunday morning.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Hundreds of people were pedaling their way through the streets of Los Angeles for CicLAvia Sunday morning, and for the first time, the event took off in Southeast L.A.

Some streets in Huntington Park, Walnut Park, South Gate, Florence-Firestone, Lynwood and Watts were closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those who decided not to bike in the event had the opportunity to walk or skate.

Music, fitness classes and family activities were available along the route for participants to enjoy.
