Downtown Los Angeles car fires: Transient man arrested on suspicion of arson

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A transient man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after three cars were set on fire in downtown Los Angeles.

The first call came in at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday involving a black sports car in the 1000 block of South Hill Street.

Moments later, a second call came in about a fire involving a PT Cruiser in the 900 block of South Hill Street.

The third call came in at 3:16 a.m. in the 200 block of East 11th Street.

All three fires were quickly put out firefighters.
