EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies are searching for two male suspects who bound a woman with duct tape before ransacking her home Wednesday.

The crime was reported at 8 a.m. in the 4200 block of Fisher Street in East Los Angeles.

The female victim told deputies the two males who confronted her were wearing ski masks. The suspects ran off in an unknown direction.

Esteban E. Torres High School was temporarily placed on precautionary lockdown due to police activity in the area.

No further information was immediately released.
