High surf, rip currents at SoCal beaches this weekend

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Lifeguards warn beachgoers to expect dangerous surf and rip currents along the coast this weekend.

A surf advisory is in effect along Orange and Los Angeles County beaches Friday afternoon.
