Woman found dead inside vehicle at Irwindale gas station

IRWINDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway in Irwindale after a woman's body was found inside a vehicle at an Arco gas station Saturday afternoon.

Irwindale police responded to the gas station in the 100 block of East Longden Avenue at about 2:52 p.m. following a report of a person slumped at the wheel.

The woman was allegedly unconscious and not breathing. Los Angeles County Fire paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The coroner's office says foul play was not involved, but the exact cause of death remains under investigation. The victim's name has not been released pending notification of kin.
