MASTIC BEACH, N.Y. (KABC) -- Kwasi Enin, 17, the student who was accepted to all eight Ivy League universities, has chosen Yale.

Enin made the announcement Wednesday at William Floyd High School in Mastic Beach, New York. He says he'll be attending Yale University in the fall.

Enin scored 2,250 out of 2,400 on his SAT, which put him in the 99th percentile for students who've taken the exam. In turn, all eight Ivy League schools -- Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and Yale -- wanted him.

Enin says he wants to study medicine. His parents are both nurses and emigrated to the United States from Ghana in the 1980s.
