WEST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- People camped out overnight outside of Maxfield LA in West Hollywood in hopes of scoring the coveted Apple Watch. The high-end boutique's doors opened at 9 a.m. to a long line, despite an unclear number of watches available.
Maxfield was the only location in the U.S. where people could walk in and buy the watch. Worldwide locations include Tokyo, London, Paris, Berlin and Milan.
The watches sell for between $350 and $17,000. The selection at Maxfield LA, however, was limited.
Apple says the company's first wearable technology product won't be available in its own stores until after June.
