COVID-19: Riverside County officials report first case of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children

Riverside County health officials have reported the first case of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in a child.

It's a rare medical complication from COVID-19; different body parts can become inflamed.

The child in question is under 15 years old.

Health officials are also reporting a possible second case with a child from Coachella Valley.
