BORDER FIELD STATE PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- Three California sea lions are back where they belong: in the Pacific Ocean. The three were among the animals affected by the Refugio oil spill near Santa Barbara this summer.
SeaWorld took in and cared for more than five dozen marine mammals following the spill. On Friday, they returned the last three sea lions to the wild, along with four others which were not in the spill.
One of the Refugio sea lions has been tagged with a satellite transmitter so scientists can monitor it.
